Sally Proctor

Sally is a director, facilitator and producer who specialises in socially engaged projects which are co-produced with the community. Her work is collaborative, accessible, value driven and rooted in connection – to ourselves, each other, place and nature.

This includes interactive arts projects and large-scale participatory productions with Slung Low and The National Theatre’s Public Acts as well as working on smaller scale engagement projects which are co-created with groups in non-traditional theatre spaces: along canals, in city centres and on allotments.

As community producer for The Bare Project she is currently co-directing Common Threads, an interactive arts project inspired by Somali weaving practices which seeks to create a safe space for women in the city. She recently worked as the creative producer for The Blanket Fort Club a theatre company that makes sensory, immersive and accessible theatre for those with complex needs and learning disabilities.
