Sewing Workshop

Drop in to help sew a community co-created map of women and marginalised genders’ thoughts, feelings, and experiences of the Moor

Join textile artist Kerry Lindeque to create a community map of women’s experiences of the Moor. Whether you use the Moor for your weekly shop or just a means to walk through town, come add your experiences, thoughts, and feelings about this part of our city, using free motion machine embroidery. Learn a new sewing skill and contribute to a community co-created banner that shines a light on women’s unique experiences of public spaces. No sewing machine skills required in this relaxed and creative drop in workshop.

About the Artist
