Time Passes. Listen.

  Time Passes. Listen.

Supported by Arts Council England and O2 Think Bigger

Time Passes. Listen. (TPL) was a Dylan Thomas-inspired storytelling and immersive theatre project based in the old Woolworth’s building on Sheffield’s Moor. This two-phase project began in September 2014 with collecting stories in the shop front. We collected over 1000 stories in exchange for a cup of tea in our Story Swap Tea Rooms.

From these stories we crafted an immersive theatre piece which was performed throughout a warren of backrooms, in which audiences explored stories of Sheffield retold.

Reviews:

“I think what got them under your skin was the quality of the performance from each of the actors, effortlessly drawing you into their world for a few moments as you passed through, on your way elsewhere but always with time to pause and listen…” (for full review please visit: http://opusindependents.com/2014/11/time-passes-listen/ )

“Moments are suspended as audience members step into the narratives at different points in time and space – witnessing quiet reflections, hearing troubled mutterings or fleeing blood-curdling wails of terror…” (For full review please visit: http://www.sheffieldunchained.co.uk/bare-project-tells-sheffield-storiestime-passes-listen/ )
